Experian

I’m a Senior Copywriter at Experian’s in-house ad agency. Here are some of my favorite things I worked on.

If you know you know

PROBLEM:
85% of Americans have at least one paid subscription going unused each month. Some might not even realize they have two or three Hulu accounts. That’s a lot of wasted money consumers could save – if only it were easier to keep track of subscriptions. And while we don’t want to cancel some bills, like phone or internet, most people don’t know you can call and negotiate a lower rate – if you have the time and patience.

Experian saw an opportunity to help people regain control of their finances, and created a tool that shows all your recurring payments in one place, helps you easily cancel the ones you no longer want, and negotiates lower rates for you on bills you want to keep.

IDEA:
Using Experian to save money on bills is a lifehack that feels like being on the inside of a secret. To connect with our target, we tapped into the popular slang “IYKYK” (if you know, you know) and built a vibrant, playful digital world.
